About

Hello and welcome to my shop! After 27 years of service to community, state, and country I retired. I’m grateful I was able to make the most of those opportunities, but it was time to purse new dreams and old passions. Now I’m able to purse my love of art and photography as an artist. I’m also a graduate student working on a Master of Arts in Teaching, focusing on secondary education and adult learning.
As the shop name Copper Stone and Silver implies these are the materials that I work with the most in my pieces. I really enjoy working with natural materials. Copper and silver are not only beautiful material’s, but they can be obtained from recycled material which I try and use as often as possible. The silver I use is nickel free and I tend to stay away from using coins that have nickel in them due to the high number of people who have allergies to it. If I do happen to use a clad coin or one with a nickel alloy I will describe it in the listing.
All the pieces I offer in the shop are handmade pieces by me. I also make the findings that I use in pieces by hand. If I do use a manufactured finding in a piece I source them from a reputable jewelry supplier. I try and source as much material as I can locally as well as hand craft the pieces. I never use stock photos for my listings, I take pictures of each piece offered. So, the picture is always of the piece you are purchasing.
I want you to be as happy with your piece as I am to be able to offer it. If you have a question or concern regarding a purchase, please contact me through the Etsy message system. If I’m unable to provide a solution or you decide you do not want the piece you can return the undamaged item for a full refund. The only thing you will need to cover is the return postage.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my shop!
